Some customers come to us already having the land on which they’d like to build their new homes, and we can certainly work with that. But, if you’re among the plenty of folks who decide to build a home and still need to buy land, know this: it doesn’t have to be a hassle.
When you partner with Carolina Custom Homes, we’ll help you find the land and bundle the cost of the land with final cost of building your home without putting you through the hassle of managing multiple loans and payments. This makes it easier for us to help you stay in budget and makes it easier for you not to have to buy the land. Once you find the best land for your new home, we’ll simply buy it and include it in your building loan.
Pro tip: as far as we know, we’re the only home builders who offer to buy and bundle the land with your building cost, which we think is a pretty obvious solution. Why wouldn’t we want to make the building process easier for our customers and ourselves?
2. Choosing a floor plan.
Shop our floor plans, take a virtual tour, schedule an on-site tour, and even customize your favorite floor plan. Whether you choose from one in our showroom or design your own from scratch, we just want your layout to fit your lifestyle and vision.
3. Budgets you can stick to and prices you can trust.
Once you’ve decided on all of your customizations, like styles, appliances, and upgrades, you’ll send your final choices to your builder, and we’ll be able to offer you an all-in price point. If you come in under or over your ideal budget, our team will be able to suggest the best adjustments to your design to meet your lifestyle, preferences, and your budget without any surprises.
4. Building your new home.
First, we’ll build the modules of your home in our climate-controlled factory setting here at our facility in Burlington, NC. We’ll also clear and grade your the lot for your home if this isn’t already completed by the time we start building. Since the modules are built off-site, you can trust that progress won’t be interrupted by common weather and construction delays. Once it’s all put together, we’ll connect your utilities, add additional siding, and install all of your chosen appliances and fixtures.
5. Turn-key move in.
This is it! After a few weeks of choosing the best finishes, appliances, and designs, you finally get to move into your dream home.
